Saying goodbye with the last light of the day.

The final day has arrived. It is hard to believe that I made it. There were many times it seemed too much, too hard. Now that it is done I will sort through my thoughts and experiences and try to write more about them. While this was an individual challenge, I couldn’t have done it alone. I am grateful for all the people who allowed me to photograph them, the beautiful place in which I live and work, and the opportunities that seemed to pop up just when I needed them. But far and above is thanks to my supportive wife. She gave up many nights to my photos, was patient while I would try and get “just one more”, and allowed me to use her as a portable lightstand.

Thank you Theresa, for making me a better photographer and a better person.

On this day, I photographed the wedding of two friends. I also constructed a photo booth as post-ceremony entertainment. As you can see, the guests were not shy about using it.
